• Biography

My professional life as an artist began as an illustrator for various national newspapers. I have explored painting, drawing, and sculpture, and worked in almost every medium possible, from paper to bronze, from traditional art exhibition of painting to contemporary multi-media art installation projects and performance art.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND AWARDS:
2009 – 2011. Senior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
1991 – 1993. Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Delhi College of Art, University of Delhi, New Delhi
1986 – 1990 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum, University of Kerala.

Nov 1996 Street Painter. A video-short for public awareness conceived and directed 4minute
video to create public awareness against the vandalism of paintings of celebrated Indian
artist M.F. Hussain by fanatics in Ahmedbad. This video had more than 500 screenings in North India.
